One of my favorite nursery rhymes growing up was:
“To Market, to market to buy a fat pig; home again, home again jiggedy-jig.”
I still sing it fairly often, as a grown women, as I pull into the drive…sometimes I just appreciate the nostalgia of life.
This weekend, we are planning a big market trip, it’s finally Vintage Market Days weekend!
So what’s on my shopping list?
- An Antique Scale. I see scales in just about every farmhouse kitchen I’ve seen. I just have to have one. They are totally classic and farmhousy!
Succulent Terrarium – I have been on the look out for the perfect and unique container to create my own succulent terrarium. They are just adorable, and I think I may could possibly manage to keep it alive.
- Unique Furniture Pieces – I always keep my eyes pealed for unique furniture pieces. I’m not quiet sure what I would do with a card catalog, but I’m totally smitten.
- Baskets – Did you know I’m obsessed with baskets? Well I totally am, no shame here! Baskets are always on my Market List.
|A Thread of Hope|
- Light Projects – Did you know you can get an inexpensive lighting kit from Lowe’s? I am always looking for unique pieces to make a cool light out of.
That list should keep me busy this weekend. What’s on your Market List? Anyone going to Vintage Market this weekend? Hope to see you there!
