Hey Friend Hey! I’m so excited that it is Thanksgiving week. I’m from the south, so we do it up big for Thanksgiving each year. I can’t wait to dig into a big pile of turkey and dressing. Yes dressing, not stuffing! It drives me batty when my New York-born husband refers to it as stuffing. There is clearly a difference between the two. One is more delicious than the other. I’m just saying! This Thanksgiving we have so much to be thankful for. But I’m just going to skip to the big elephant in the room…WE ARE MOVING!
For those of you who’ve been around the last several months, you may have noticed a change in pace around here. I had suddenly stopped posting regularly. Projects have gone unfinished. Intended projects never started. I shifted to small crafts. That’s all because my husband, who works for a large retail company, has been interviewing for several positions within his company. We knew it was time for that next step in his career. We had hoped and prayed for so long that the perfect opportunity would come that would allow us to stay where we are. But sadly, none of those came to fruition.
I can’t wait to take you along the ride of house hunting and getting settled into our next chapter of life.
We are instead following God’s direction for our family which includes selling our home and moving. All scary, yet exciting things. So the next few months are going to be sporadic and full of packing and moving and rearranging. I can’t wait to take you along the ride of house hunting and getting settled into our next chapter of life.
So this week, we are thankful for our first home. The house which brought us the blog and all of you guys…
